This is direct ancestor George Morris after he came to Utah. It is thought that this portrait was taken in about 1865 when he was forty-eight years of age.
On the right is Maria Susannah Merrick Maddison Thorne, on the left is her daughter Flora Louisa Maddison Long Maiben and in the back Flora’s daughter Rosina Maria Maiben Jones with her daughter Mary Maiben Jones. Both Maria Susannah and Flora Louisa are direct ancestors.
