This is one of several mystery photographs found in an album kept by the daughter of Nephi James Bates and Flora Louise Maiben.  Several of the photographs include direct ancestor Nephi James Bates (1875-1958) in the company of other young men.  The occasion appears to have been a science fair.  We assume they were taken at the local high school in Sevier County, Utah.  Probably in Richfield or Monroe.  The identities of the other young men are not known to us.  The year 1893 would make the young men about 17 or 18 and thus the age of seniors.  Perhaps you know who they are?
