This keepsake photograph was taken at the home of Nephi and Flora Bates in Richfield, Sevier County, Utah in about 1950.  Seated is Sarah Sprague Bates.  Behind her is her son Nephi James Bates (1875-1958) and her granddaughter Lucile Bates Ford.  On either side of Sarah are her great-grandchildren.  They are the children of her granddaughter Lucile.  On the left are Dorothy and John and on the right aare Margaret and Diane.
