Direct ancestor Henry Reynolds Watrous spent a lot of time in the mountains.  After his successful career as an attorney came to an end, he and his sons continued to dream of finding the right mine and striking it rich. The barber in this keepsake photograph is Henry’s son and our direct ancestor Everest Elliott Watrous.  Henry is the one receiving the haircut.  The man in the background is unknown.   Henry died in 1923.  This photograph was likely taken about 1920 in Big Cottonwood Canyon outside of Salt Lake City, Utah.
