This keepsake photograph was taken in about 1914 in Richfield, Sevier, Utah. Not all of the children are known to us.  The child in the middle front is Mildred Bates who was born in 1909 to Nephi James Bates and Flora Louise Maiben.  Mildred married Everest Raymond Watrous in 1932.  The doll she is holding is now a keepsake which Mildred gave to her granddaughter Melissa in the year 2000.  The doll has a porcelain head and has been carefully preserved although she does not have her original clothing.
